D-Day Invasion L.S.T. 1:245 Scale

This unassembled plastic model kit is 1:245 scale which makes it about 16" long whem assembled. It is rated as Skill Level 2, the mid range in degree of difficulty. Glue and paint are not included.

The kit includes decals, display stand and L.C.V.P.'s.

The LST could carry a cargo of 300 troops and 60 vehicles. Not withstanding its size the LST had a very shallow draft allowing it to load and unload on shore and at low tide without docking which was essential during the D-Day invasion.
