Blackbeard's Pirate Ship 1:250 Scale

This unassembled plastic model kit is in 1:250 scale and is rated as Skill Level 2, mid-point in the degree of difficulty. The finely engraved kit is molded in 2 colors and has easy-to-follow rigging instructions. The crew is included as are the molded billowing sails. Glue and paints are not included.

Blackbeard, Captain Edward Teach, is probabl;y the most infamous pirate in history.With his wild beard and fierce eyes, he was a formidable opponent. Before a battle he tucked lengths of smoldering hemp into his hair, surrounding himself with a veil of smoke. Teach was killed in 1718. At the height of his career Blackbeard commanded a fleet of six ships with a combined crew of 400 men.
